Lodomi is a peer-to-peer lending marketplace that depends on the trust and good faith of its users. This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the standards of conduct required of all users and applies alongside our Terms of Use. By using Lodomi, you agree to comply with this Policy.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use Lodomi to:
- List personal property that you legally own or have explicit authorization to lend;
- Search for items available to borrow near your location;
- Communicate with other users about lending arrangements in good faith;
- Enter into and complete rental or borrowing transactions;
- Send and receive messages related to listed items or posted searches.
3. Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use Lodomi to:
- Post fraudulent listings or misrepresent the condition, description, or ownership of any item;
- List prohibited items as defined in Section 9 of our Terms of Use (including weapons, illegal items, hazardous materials, and stolen goods);
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other users;
- Impersonate another person, organization, or entity;
- Circumvent the Lodomi platform by taking agreed transactions off-platform (for example, to avoid platform fees);
- Use automated bots, scrapers, crawlers, or scripts to access, collect data from, or interact with the platform;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any user account, system, or database;
- Use the platform to manage inventory for a commercial business or for systematic commercial resale;
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or chain messages to other users;
- Post content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory;
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation or the servers and networks connected to it.
4. Content Standards
All content you post on Lodomi — including item listings, search posts, and messages — must:
- Be accurate and not misleading;
- Comply with all applicable Canadian federal and provincial laws;
- Not infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party;
- Not contain malicious code, viruses, or harmful links.

If you encounter a listing, message, or user behaviour that appears to violate this Policy or our Terms of Use, please report it to us at:

6. Consequences of Violations
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in, at Lodomi's sole discretion:
- Removal of the offending content or listing;
- A formal warning to your account;
- Temporary suspension of your account;
- Permanent termination of your account; or
- Referral to law enforcement where applicable.
Lodomi's decisions regarding violations are final and made at our sole discretion.
